When the User contracts services on behalf of a company, entity, or organization, they declare that they have the necessary authority to act on its behalf.
2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The purpose of the Website is to provide information and facilitate the contracting of services related to the rental of meeting rooms, executive rooms, and other professional spaces offered by SOLUM Madrid Reuniones in Madrid.
The services may be intended for individuals as well as companies, self-employed persons, professionals, and other organizations.
These Terms regulate:
- Access to and use of the Website.
- Requests for information and availability.
- Booking and contracting of rooms and spaces.
- Payment for services.
- Cancellation and modification conditions.
- Rules for the use of the facilities.
- The rights and obligations of SOLUM and Users.
When a specific booking includes specific conditions, a quotation, commercial proposal, or specific document accepted by the User, such conditions shall form part of the contract and shall prevail over these Terms with regard to the matters specifically regulated therein.
3. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS
Before completing a contract, the User must have access to these Terms and, where required, expressly accept their contents.
The contracting of a service implies that the User declares that they have read and understood the conditions applicable to the contract.
When the User acts on behalf of a company or entity, they shall be responsible for ensuring that they have sufficient authorization to enter into the contract.
4. ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE WEBSITE
Access to the Website is generally free of charge, without prejudice to any Internet connection costs applicable to the User according to their telecommunications provider.
The User undertakes to use the Website lawfully, diligently, and in accordance with these Terms.
It is prohibited to use the Website:
- For unlawful or fraudulent purposes or purposes contrary to applicable legislation.
- To introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful elements.
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, servers, or restricted areas.
- To alter, disable, or impair the operation of the Website.
- To carry out activities that may harm the rights or interests of SOLUM or third parties.
- To use Website content for commercial purposes without authorization.
SOLUM may adopt the technical and organizational measures necessary to protect the Website, its systems, and its users.
5. INFORMATION ABOUT THE SERVICES
SOLUM offers professional spaces intended, among other uses, for business meetings, professional gatherings, interviews, presentations, work sessions, and other activities compatible with the characteristics of each space.
The information published regarding rooms, features, capacity, equipment, schedules, services, and prices may be modified according to availability and SOLUM's operational needs.
Photographs, images, and representations of the spaces are for illustrative purposes. The layout, decoration, furniture, and certain equipment elements may vary.
The availability of a room shall not be guaranteed until SOLUM has expressly confirmed the corresponding booking.
6. REQUESTS AND BOOKINGS
The User must provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date information when making a request or booking.
A request for information or availability does not in itself constitute a booking.
The booking shall be formalized when SOLUM has expressly confirmed the contract and, where applicable, the established payment conditions have been fulfilled.
SOLUM may request additional information when necessary to properly manage the booking.
The booking may be subject to the effective availability of the space, acceptance of the specific conditions, and, where applicable, prior payment.
7. PRICES
The applicable prices shall be those published on the Website or communicated to the User by means of a quotation, email, commercial proposal, or other valid means.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices shall include the legally applicable taxes.
Additional services requested by the User may incur an additional cost.
SOLUM may modify its prices and rates for future bookings without affecting bookings already confirmed, unless specific conditions provide otherwise.
8. PAYMENT
Payment shall be made using the payment methods enabled by SOLUM.
When advance payment is required for a booking, the booking shall not be considered definitively confirmed until the corresponding amount has been received or the established validation has taken place.
SOLUM may establish different payment conditions depending on the type of booking, duration, amount, number of attendees, additional services, or customer profile.
The User must provide the necessary information for the correct issuance of the invoice.
9. CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS BY THE USER
The User may request the cancellation of a booking.
A refund of the amount paid shall only be available when the cancellation is requested at least thirty (30) calendar days before the scheduled date of the service.
When the cancellation request is received by SOLUM at least thirty (30) calendar days in advance, the User may request a refund of the amount paid corresponding to the booking.
When the cancellation occurs less than thirty (30) calendar days in advance, the User shall not be entitled to a refund of the amount paid, unless a mandatory legal provision applies to the contrary.
For the purpose of calculating the period, the date and time on which SOLUM receives the cancellation request shall be taken into account.
Any applicable refund shall generally be made using the same payment method used by the User to make the booking, unless there is a technical or legal impossibility or any other circumstance justifying the use of another method agreed with the User.
The actual time for receipt of the amount will also depend on the processing times of the bank, payment service provider, or card-issuing entity used.
10. EXCEPTIONS TO THE CANCELLATION POLICY
The cancellation conditions established in these Terms constitute the general conditions applicable to bookings.
However, SOLUM may, at its sole commercial discretion and taking into account the specific circumstances of each case, exceptionally authorize modifications, date changes, credits, vouchers, partial or full refunds, or other commercial solutions.
The granting of any exception shall be voluntary and must be expressly authorized by SOLUM.
The granting of an exception in a specific case shall not imply a modification of these Terms or create an acquired right for the User in future bookings.
When an exception has been granted, its specific conditions shall be communicated to the User by SOLUM.
11. MODIFICATION OF BOOKINGS
Any modification to a booking must be requested in advance from SOLUM and shall be subject to availability and express acceptance.
SOLUM may accept, reject, or propose an alternative to a modification request.
Modifications may affect the price when they involve changes to:
- The date.
- The schedule.
- The duration.
- The room booked.
- The number of attendees.
- Additional services.
- Any other characteristic of the booking.
A modification shall not be considered confirmed until SOLUM has expressly accepted it.
When a modification involves a reduction or partial cancellation of the services initially contracted, the cancellation conditions established in these Terms may apply.
12. MODIFICATIONS TO THE WEBSITE AND COMMERCIAL OFFER
SOLUM may modify, update, expand, replace, or remove content, photographs, functionalities, services, prices, schedules, and other information published on the Website.
These modifications may be made for commercial, technical, operational, security, maintenance, availability, service update, or any other legitimate reason.
Changes made to the commercial offer shall apply to new bookings made after their entry into force.
The specific conditions of an already confirmed booking shall remain as agreed at the time of contracting, unless there is a legitimate reason that makes performance under the conditions initially contemplated impossible or substantially more difficult.
In such cases, SOLUM shall take reasonable measures to offer an appropriate solution to the User, without prejudice to any rights legally available to them.
13. OPERATIONAL CHANGES AND REPLACEMENT OF SPACES
SOLUM may make operational changes to the organization of its facilities, including the arrangement of furniture, equipment, access points, and allocation of spaces.
When, for operational, technical, maintenance, security, unforeseen availability, or similar reasons, it is not possible to use the room initially planned, SOLUM may assign an alternative room that is reasonably suitable for the characteristics of the booking.
SOLUM shall inform the User when the change is relevant to the contracted service.
14. HOURS OF USE
The User must strictly respect the start and end times of the booking.
Access before the contracted time or remaining in the space after the end time shall require authorization from SOLUM.
When additional unauthorized use occurs, SOLUM may charge the corresponding amount for the additional time where applicable and where the User has been informed of the applicable rates.
15. NUMBER OF ATTENDEES
The User must respect the maximum capacity indicated for each room.
The number of persons authorized by SOLUM may not be exceeded.
If the number of attendees exceeds the contracted or permitted capacity, SOLUM may request the User to reduce the number of attendees, change the booking to a suitable space if available, or take the necessary measures to ensure the safety and proper functioning of the facilities.
Room changes resulting from an increase in the number of attendees may involve an increase in price.
16. RULES FOR USE OF THE FACILITIES
The User must use the facilities, furniture, equipment, and services made available to them diligently and appropriately.
The following are prohibited:
- Carrying out illegal activities.
- Carrying out dangerous activities.
- Damaging or altering the facilities.
- Handling equipment without authorization when such handling may cause damage.
- Introducing hazardous substances or materials.
- Assigning or subletting the room to third parties.
- Using the facilities for a purpose other than the one communicated when such use is incompatible with the space or may create risks.
- Causing disturbances that significantly affect other users or the operation of the center.
SOLUM may request the immediate cessation of any activity that violates these conditions or may endanger persons, facilities, or third parties.
17. LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES
The User shall be responsible for any damage caused intentionally or negligently by them, their employees, collaborators, guests, clients, or any person accessing the facilities under their booking.
When damage occurs, SOLUM may claim the reasonable cost of the corresponding repair or replacement, provided that the User or persons associated with their booking are proven to be responsible.
The User must immediately report any damage, malfunction, or incident detected.
18. PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND POSSESSIONS
SOLUM shall not be responsible for the loss, theft, or deterioration of personal belongings brought by Users into the facilities, except where liability must legally be attributed to SOLUM.
The User shall be responsible for properly safeguarding their belongings and valuables.
19. INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY
All Website content, including texts, photographs, images, designs, logos, trademarks, graphics, videos, structure, and code, belongs to SOLUM or to third parties who have authorized its use.

SOLUM does not necessarily control such websites and shall not be responsible for their content, availability, operation, or policies.
The inclusion of a link does not necessarily imply the existence of a commercial relationship, partnership, or approval of such websites by SOLUM.
21. AVAILABILITY AND OPERATION OF THE WEBSITE
SOLUM shall endeavor to keep the Website available and functioning properly.
However, it does not guarantee that access will be permanent, uninterrupted, or completely free of errors.
The Website may be temporarily interrupted due to maintenance, updates, technical incidents, connectivity problems, third-party failures, or circumstances beyond SOLUM's reasonable control.
22. LIABILITY
SOLUM shall take reasonable measures to ensure that the information published on the Website is correct and up to date.
However, errors, omissions, or changes in the information may occur.
SOLUM shall not be responsible for damages arising from improper use of the Website by the User or from non-compliance with these Terms.
No provision of these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liabilities that may not legally be excluded or limited.
23. DATA PROTECTION
The processing of personal data collected through the Website shall be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
Detailed information regarding the processing activities carried out by SOLUM can be found in the Privacy Policy available on the Website.
The use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by the corresponding Cookie Policy.
24. COMMUNICATIONS
When the User provides their contact details, SOLUM may use them to manage requests, bookings, payments, invoicing, incidents, and other communications related to the contracted services.
Commercial communications shall be sent in accordance with applicable regulations and, where necessary, after obtaining the corresponding consent.
25. BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMERS
When the User acts as a business, professional, or representative of a legal entity, the contractual relationship shall be governed by these Terms and by any specific conditions that have been accepted.
In relationships between businesses or professionals, the parties may agree on specific commercial conditions relating to prices, payments, cancellations, modifications, additional services, invoicing, and other aspects of the contract.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and specific conditions expressly accepted by both parties, the latter shall prevail with regard to the matters specifically regulated therein.
26. CONSUMER CUSTOMERS
When the User acts as a consumer or user, they shall be entitled to the rights recognized by the applicable mandatory Spanish and European consumer protection legislation.
No provision of these Terms is intended to exclude, limit, or replace any rights legally available to consumers.
The cancellation conditions established in these Terms shall apply insofar as they are compatible with the mandatory legislation applicable to each contract.
27. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
When the contract is entered into remotely by a consumer, the provisions of the applicable legislation concerning the right of withdrawal and the legally established exceptions shall apply.
In particular, when the contracted service consists of the provision of services related to leisure activities and there is a specific date or period for performance, the legally established exceptions to the right of withdrawal shall apply, where applicable.
When the legislation grants the consumer a right of withdrawal, SOLUM shall provide the information and mechanisms legally required for its exercise.
28. MODIFICATION OF THESE TERMS
SOLUM may modify these Terms to adapt them to legislative, technical, operational, or commercial changes.
The applicable version shall be the one published on the Website at any given time.
The modifications shall apply to new contracts entered into after their publication.
Bookings and contracts already formalized shall be governed by the conditions accepted at the time of contracting, without prejudice to modifications required by legal changes or those that may subsequently be agreed between the parties.
29. PARTIAL NULLITY
If any provision of these Terms is declared null, invalid, or unenforceable, in whole or in part, this shall not affect the remaining provisions.
The affected provision shall be replaced or interpreted in a manner that comes as close as possible to the intended economic and legal purpose, always within the limits established by applicable legislation.
30. APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms shall be governed by Spanish law.
When the User is a consumer, the mandatory consumer and user protection rules applicable to them shall be respected.
When the User acts as a business or professional, the applicable Spanish commercial and civil laws shall apply.
